Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser: it opens from a link, with no install and no admin rights, on any operating system and on a phone.
What's free?
Everything the site offers today is free, with no time limit: open a file from any instrument, automatic event detection, cursor measurements, editing of metadata, events and the curve, and export to .sor. The Professional plan adds work with a whole set of fibres: one document per job, a summary table and your own letterhead. Details are on the pricing page.
Which instruments and format versions are supported?
Bellcore/Telcordia SOR in both format generations, 1.x and 2.x, from any OTDR manufacturer: EXFO, Yokogawa, VIAVI, AFL and others, including multi-wavelength measurements at 1310 / 1550 / 1625 nm. If an OTDR wrote it, it opens here: both .sor generations, .msor, three .trc dialects (EXFO, Anritsu T5 and T6), Yokogawa, INNO, .bdr, .csor, .tst, .TFW, .WTK, .trcx, .zip, .7z, .rar. Everything except .sor opens read-only; convert the file to .sor to edit it.
Will editing metadata damage the original?
No. The original bytes are always kept inside the file itself: unchanged blocks are exported verbatim.
Can we get reports in our own template?
Yes, in the Professional plan: the logo, company details and fields are set up once. We don't ship ready-made normative templates. Instead we fit the form your customer already accepts.
How do I hand a trace to a customer or a colleague?
By link. The "Share" button in the app gives you an address where the recipient opens a copy of this trace right in the browser, with every edit it holds at that moment, no install and no account. The copy is theirs: their edits do not change your file. The link works for two weeks. You can also just export the .sor and send it as a file, as before.
How does a company pay?
The Professional plan is paid on the pricing page, for a year or monthly. If your company has its own payment requirements (an invoice, a contract), write to our mail.
