72 sheets in a row, one every 35 seconds
On 21 September one person made 72 sheets in 43 minutes on our site. In the morning they opened an archive of 75 files, and all of it opened. The report, though, had to be put together one file at a time: open a fibre, download the PDF, open the next one.
The same day two more people made 34 sheets in an hour and 18 in half an hour at night. That day 125 sheets were made one file at a time.
They did everything right. The free plan gives you a sheet for one file, and they made it as many times as there were fibres. Professional exists for exactly that kind of evening: the whole set goes to the customer as one document.

A job, not a folder
A line, a cable or an order: its files, reports and the drum's factory data sit together. Open the project and all its traces are on screen. Six months later you find it by customer, cable or report code.
You see what is missing
Fibres, wavelengths and ends form a grid, and an empty cell means “not tested”. Retest a fibre and the earlier measurement stays next to it.
Summary table
Traces from both ends are paired across the whole job. Fibre, length, loss, worst event, result: the customer sees the job on one page, and you see straight away which fibre failed.
Batch edits
The instrument lost the date, the fibre numbers are out of order, or the test record needs a job name? Correct it once and the change goes into every file. File names are built from your own pattern.

Questions
What people ask most
Will what is free now become paid?
No. Everything you can do on the site today for free or anonymously stays that way: reading any format, measuring, editing, saving to .sor, a sheet for one measurement, a link. What becomes paid is working with a whole set.
How is a year different from a month, apart from the price?
It isn't. The plan is the same. A year is a third cheaper and is paid in one transfer.
Can I pay already?
Yes. Choose a year or a month on the Professional plan above.
I have the manufacturer's software. Why would I need this?
The manufacturer's software reads its own instrument's files and installs on Windows. We open files from some twenty instruments, including ones you don't own, work in the browser on any system, and build one document for the customer from the measurements. If you have one instrument and one file, the vendor's software is enough.
What if you don't know my instrument?
Send the file to support@otdrmaster.com. We work out formats from real instrument files rather than from specifications, and a new format usually arrives in the next release. It is free and needs no account.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser, on any system, including a phone. It opens the same files your instrument writes.
